Another Southern BBQ Leaves the Shoals

 

Another Southern BBQ has left the area. Most recently, it's been using the name "South's Best," but remained the same internally. From the owner:

There are no words to describe this past week and all who wished us goodbye. Our little BBQ joint could best be compared to Cheers where everybody knows your name. We could never thank you all enough for allowing us to be a part of so many families. We love you all and are going to miss you more than you know,
There is no secret to our success, it's simply the incredible staff we have been so blessed to work with. Thank you Carol, Kyle, Cindy, Deb, Amanda, Brandi, Whitney, Rachel and Emily just to name a few. Most of all our business would not have been possible without my wife Traci. She has been 100% indispensable to every part of Southern BBQ. I'm the luckiest person to of had Traci as my business partner. Oh, did I mention Traci is the developer of our famous white sauce

This leaves only one or two remaining in a chain that once boasted of six or seven throughout North Alabama. Let's hope a new endeavor quickly takes its place on Wilson Dam Road.
