While reviewing various offerings from local restaurants, several readers recommended Smokin' Jalapeno - Shoal Creek. Note: We use the correct name of the waterway referenced in the eatery's title. 

Here's one of the reviews:

My husband and I often eat there, from our experience the quality of the food is consistent every time. This being a plus because that's hard to find, we love the fried Chicken tacos, they have that nice little crunch paired well with the slaw, meshes nicely together. The fries are really good, especially dipped in their cheese dip. Their customer service is great, they always make us feel welcomed, and it's very clean, nicely decorated.

Smokin' Jalapeno also has a location in Muscle Shoals. If you're into Tex-Mex cuisine, according to many local foodies, this restaurant won't disappoint.
