On April 22nd, Hwy55 in Muscle Shoals published a call for applications. On April 26th, the fast food location made its last Facebook post. Readers are reporting that it's now closed.
The Muscle Shoals eatery isn't alone. One Florence restaurant was unexpectedly closed two weeks ago when utilities were shut off for non-payment. We understand that produce was repossessed. We're holding our breath on that one.
So much for Bidenomics...
To blame Bidenomics for a restaurant closing that has been failing since it started is pure insanity. The President doesn't control the price of our groceries or the wages that we're paid. It's called Corporate greed. But, the reason the restaurant failed is because everyone complained about it online and no one went there. I've seen several comments on What's Happening Shoals/Florence on Facebook of people saying that this place was terrible. It had no napkins, no condiment packets, and the decor was lack luster. I never really heard much about the food, but it's the restaurant's own fault that it closed. Not Biden's. People also probably didn't want to work under poor management and low wages.
